Ouch! I broke my arm
Broke my arm playing indoor five a side last night..
Drivers at work talked me into playing five a side with them, they thought it would be a good idea for a member of the traffic staff to attend.
i aint really built for tearing down the wing
however
this i did. there was a patch of water on the floor from an apperent leak in the sports halls roof ,
A tripple sulko followed by a half twist led to my next move being that of one to PGI.
what can i say other lord it hurts

Jeez man - that is painful...
Broke my right arm about 6 years ago, falling over someone's tent while having a drunken midnight pi$$ on a camp site in Wales.....
The worse bit was not being able to go on mi bike for two months......
PS. Why not issue proceedings against the sports hall for negligence in failing to fix the leaky roof, and the consequential damage, pain, suffering and inconvenience it has caused you?

Sorry to hear about that Mick, never been a big football fan personally, even less so having heard that!
Was it your left or right arm by the way?, just wondering if you will still be able to change gear ok

The exact position is just out of pure interest only of course
I have to see orthapedic surgeon in pinderfield monday 10am so really depends on what kind of repair or cast they fit as to if i can drive to the NBO or not ?
spent four hours there this afternoon having more xrays
I maybe can suggest casting it while sat in car with my hand on my ****
Keep it clean guys

Cast on for about three weeks mate, although this was far too brief in my opinion... Thereafter, they put a splint on it, for another three weeks (at my request!).
Beware that, if it's an elbow region break, you may not have full joint extension or movement for several months. This drove me mad, as I thought I was going to be deformed forever..... It does heal, but can take time, and is to do with tissue and/or muscle damage.
With mine, a bit of the bone got stuck in the muscle, tearing the fibres, so that added to the problem. It's still there (apparently), but has calcified, and so far hasn't caused any problems with the joint. Later life might be a different story however....
Moral of my salutory story is.....
1. Give the doctors a hard time. Otherwise, they will ignore or fob you off.
2. Don't go for a pi$$ on a camp site while drunk.....

The tikka did not stand a chance even one handed armed with a fork
The poppadom was not so eager to give in, could hold it in my broken arm just could not get it to my mouth
The bonus to having a broken arm and eating curries is the sling acts as a napkin

Hi all
Good news today at the hospital arm is indeed fractured the radius bone actually in the socket itself (good news lol)
Well the good news is they have not put a cast on, because the fracture is on the ball they cant do anything with it to aid its repair other than lots of Physio (me think thats gonna smart a little)
Anyway back to the good news I can drive and so long as i dont do anythink too aggresive as in movement thats just fine.
Guess that means Snatching gears and thrashing the car away from traffic lights is a no no, but hey i never do things like that anyway
NBO here I come

All bends are blind if your going fast enough close ones eyes and point and prey
as for brakes whats them then
The above statment is obviously foolish imature and not to be advised it should only be taken onboard in the comedy value it was intended as!!
(i love disclaimers)
