Wife, puppy and I are planning a "run" to Barmouth on the 31st (gentle drive) for a few hours of fresh air on the dog friendly beach @ Barmouth.

Leaving Telford/A5 services approx. 0930/1000hrs on the 31st - if anyone wants to join us please let me know and I will sort out meeting point.

A few hours on the beach/fresh air and hopefully chips for lunch at "The Last Inn" or somewhere else?

Families/kids/dogs etc most welcome.

A bit of a last minute after Christmas run to clear our heads, so would be great to meet up etc.

Yep A458 is perfect - I'll sort out a time later today/tomorrow (see if we get anymore from Midlands area). We will pick up the A458 off the A5 from Shrewsbury.

160 miles on flooded A458 to Barmouth and the Impreza did not put a foot wrong.

Pressing on in such driving conditions made me appreciate how competent these cars are.

Shame Rescue Dude (JB) could not join us but maybe next time?
