Surely fitting a Sti engine will sky rocket your insurance anyway ???

Insurance will be higher on a modded car than a WRX or STI. Plus on top of the engine you need need to sort the gearbox as the N/A ones will not survive. plus factor in brakes and suspension and you can kiss any saving you think you may make goodbye!

Another one publicly talking about fraud....

It will cost more to insure with an STI engine than it will be to insure an actual STI.

Not something I recommend but you can usually find JDM cars registered as non turbos but that gives another issue as to being able to insure an import. As said before though be careful about talking so publicly about fraud lol.

If you look I never mentioned anything about not telling the insurance I'm just after away to get more horses out the car, I've done exhuast and filter and just wondered if there was a turbo upgrade

There were a couple of places that did supercharger kits for 2.0 na's but not sure these would bolt to a 1.6? Not sure its worth the money.
Also not sure how the 1.6 lump would cope with being turbo charged with regards to compression ratios etc.
You would need full exhaust set-up, turbo, fuelling set-up, ecu just for starters.

Only mods worth doing in reality are unequal exhaust manifold (and exhaust set-up if preferred), suspension mods and brake upgrade, all IMO of course.
