what's it sound like when the bottom end goes ?
just wondering as ive got a strange noise dont sound good 
does it come in on a certain rev range ?

Start it let It warm a little then sit in car and start to rev very slightly and let foot right off you'll hear a knock just as revs drop. Get oil pressure guage fitted as that will tell you alot
