Default Low boost

Hi guys, Havin a bit of an issue with my00 Uk turbo 2000. Having been constantly told to remove bleed valve I've done so, however since doing this my boost is only at 10 psi, and I know on this model it should be 13.6ish psi, and before I fitted the bleed valve this was the case. I have fitted the correct restrictor pill which was in before (1.2mm) in the right place so this makes no sense and even tried another boost control solenoid to no avail. Really got me stumped! The car feels **** slow on 10psi! I've now refitted bleed valve and set to 15-16psi!

Thanks in advance for any advice!

have you reset the ecu?? as your boost control has been limp for so long, not going to go on about the risks of bleed valves but you take away the ecus control over boost condition ect ect ..

Have you checked that the original solenoid is plumbed in properly.
