hey guys im Tom and being as i couldn't find a newbie section i thought i would post in here as this is the area im from lol.

ok so im going to be looking for a blob eye sti type uk (or at least i think thats what they are known as) in the coming months after not having much luck with my previous mr2 turbos i fancy a change and something newer and iv always liked the scoobys.

MR2's are nice but I promise, once you have an "Impreza" (not scooby) you will soon forget them

Hi Tom and Welcome,

Check that non of the shocks knock if running standard ones, dont bother paying extra for a Prodrive version, only difference is the Map which is generic to the STi and its a basic map which is a bit crap and it also has a sports cat and rear box, so nothing special.

no problem i will see where the next meet is and sort out coming along it will probably be just me and the missus in the corsa lol and we will probably be the youngest there too lol (make you all feel a bit older)

out of interest have u driven anything with any sort of power or u going from a corsa to an impreza sti?

 

SteveoSTi- I've driven all sorts to be honest, My last couple of cars were : BMW 320I and Audi A4 TDI Sport.

Blue and gold- Wooo, at least there will be someone almost of age! :-D

 

we got all sort of ages some in there 40s and 30s and we got girly scooby drives to so you will get a warm welcome lads see you at the next meet

lol the corsa is the missus car iv had two mr2 turbos one standard and one with a nice healthy 320bhp and before settling on wanting an impreza i looked into buying (dare i say it) an evo 6

 

ah nice one, was gonna say it is a huge jump from a corsa to an sti not had mine long and loving it to bits

 

yh the mr2 was an amazing car but i think its time for something a bit newer and a bit more blue with gold wheels lol and also something worth a bit more

 

i'm only 22 aswel am so is tom with the silver bug eye sport!

insurance won't be any worse than when i had a qoute on an evo 6 so thats not a problem and i would prefer to have it at a stupid price rather than drive round without it
