Castleford - White Mk1 Imprezza, black spoiler and wheels
Hi all, first post here, unfortunately from a somewhat disgruntled sports car enthusiast.
This morning we had a white mk1 Impreza kindly wake us up at around 5.30am, zooming past into the lofty heights of third gear on our otherwise quiet, built-up, 30mph residential estate in Castleford.
Seemlingly wanting us to regail more than once in the deafening sound of his modded sporting pleasure he came back for both a 'to' and 'fro' at 6am, then 7am and what is hopefully his swansong at 8am.
It was clearly modified/tuned, had black wheels and a black spoiler. He was insistent on excellerating hard out of the roundabout, up to the next one and back again before giving the remainder of the estate a dose of his audible delights.
Such was the noise, we were gleefily able to hear his antics out of the estate and along the main road for around half a mile before disappearing and allowing us a short burst of sleep before returning.
Does this noise junky happen to frequent on here? If so, I'd be interested if he could provide rationale for his actions.
I also wondered if it was perhaps a joy rider, as at that time surely no right minded car nut would be stupid enough to do this repeatedly in the same place? If it was, keep your eyes peeled for a nicked Scooby!
Cheers!

Seems daft why someone would be giving it the beans at 5-6am in the morning in a residental estate and coming back not once but twice? Maybe he just wanted to drive his car hard in no traffic for some morning pleasure; regardless to say his actions were defiently wrong.
I highly doubt it would be anyone from forums as like you say, we're all enthusiasts and have respect for other people. I'd hazard a guess it's probably a chavvy boy racer who doesn't know much about cars.
