I keep seeing your car as well Zoe.
I'm normally in the white MX5 with black wheels.
May be getting a Mk1 Estate so thought i'd come on here and do a bit of research

60k, that's good going! How old is it? I know what you mean about the new ones but they are growing on me!! Have had a few snubs from their drivers in the past!! You got many plans for yours then?

Body wise yes, very long story but it was mint and i mean mint when i brought her ! She was kept in a heated garage after being imported was never used not even a mark on the rims !
Believe me it's not due to me not looking after her either i reckon someone got jealous lol ( i think ) Engine wise, she has a small oil leak but i know thats just a seal and will be done very shortly along with a service !
The car already has more than enough power for me it has uprated everything its the bodywork and rims which will just be cleaned up ! I will not be changing anything on the car, i did fancy black rims though but i'm not a sheep . . .
Haven't drove for a few days.... due to being ill, took her for a spin down the bypass today don't you just love that sound oh yea lol . . . Soon put a smile back on my face whoop whoop !!
You got any plans for yours ?

Hope you are better now ?
Sounds like you got a good un there !!
Not really got any plans for mine tbh, it is standard at the mo. Wouldn't mind changing the exhaust possibly but not really much else. I like to keep them pretty much standard as they seem to hold their value better!
Will prob change her in next year and go newer still, ultimately I want a T25, but that dream is a year or two off !
I love that bypass too, I use it everytime I travel to work !! Although I am usually on my bike, either way, it is a good road

My terminology was a bit wrong (as i've worked out from spending a bit of time on here).
It's a Mk1 Wagon.
My Wife's Aunt recently lost her battle with cancer and she always remembered that I said that if she ever wanted to sell it to let me know. Any way she's left it to me!
All I know is that it's dark blue and on a V plate (i think). It's been a while since i've seen the car so can't remember the exact details!
The MX5 is going to come off the road for winter as soon as I get it as it's needs a bit of tlc! Will wave next time I see you - last time I saw you was on the Hockliffe Road by the chinese (stuck in a bit of traffic) but that was a while ago.

Not much wrong with the MX5 - Cheap thrills all the way.
I've booked my train ticket tonight to go up to the Lake District to pick the car up.
It's a 1999 1999 Impreza Sport Awd wagon in dark blue with 80k on the clock.
I can't seem to find much out about the car in terms of performance/mpg etc. Am I right in assuming it's a non turbo?

Teamheath2 - I think I followed you through town tonight. I came out of Tesco's and was just behind you but then got held up at the roundabout for the bottom of the high street.
Was about 6.
