Default Colin McRaes # 1 car broken down on the M40

I think it was anyway.

Parked on the hard should with hazard lights going it and FIAT 500 behind it.

Looked like the car on the stand at Warwick as it had the number 1 on the side etc?

Did anyone else see this (WRX DAZZA maybe?)?

Surely I could not have been the only one to spot this late Sunday evening on the M40?

WRX Dazza, I think it was just before I went past you and the other guys you was with.

This isn't a wind up.

Chris darling it looked very much like that one. Now, without sounding likea complete dipstick (I maybe wrong here) but it looked to me as though it may have been Mr Lapworth on the hard shoulder? Was he driving this car back at all? The person was wearing a very wet grey or light blue top.

SHESCOOBY and naughtyhunnybunny thank you for not making me sound like a billy bull wassit.

Smartass - Check

Steve sweetie, you are spot on, it was that car. How do I know apart from the description and the obvious video I posted

Well here is a picture of it next to my girlfriends car with her looking pleased as punch it parked next to her

Second clue is about David Lapworth
Yup here he is standing next to me and some other gimps

Third clue was when I was talking to him and he mentioned they had to change the plugs on the way to warwick because the car hated sitting in traffic just idling or doing 30-40 mph. I of course being all technical and all, just nodded wisely and went "mmm, yes I know what you mean"

So I am guessing he had some issues on the way back

Now does that answer your question ?

Chrissy baby,

Thank you for clearing this us my sweet cheeks. I guess now I can say I am quicker than a full on group A WRC car.

And I wouldn't be suprised it conked out after VBH gave it a roasting after watching Fifth Gear last night. Not bad, the car had its first run in good knows how long and then got stuck on the M40 on the way to Warwick. Then sat around in the damp cold weather. Then VBH gives it some beans.

Yours
Steven
