ST 1 Nice Reg. No: Wrong Car mate!
#1
Saw a MY01 DBM wagon heading East on the M4 yesterday at 5pm with the registration number ST 1 on it grouped together to read, you guessed it STI ! Nice Reg but wasted on a plain old wagon though!
I am not really into private plates unless they are related to the car they are on. I would kill for 250 GTO on the right car!
Yesterday I saw E1 GHT on a Toyota Prius (!) and and BET 150N (Bet is on ?) on a Daimler.

ST 1?
You mean you're too young to remember The Saint, Simon Templar?
Used to be on a Volvo P1800 in the TV series.
250 GTO IS on the right car, and it belongs to Nick Mason.
Oh, he's the drummer in a band called Pink Floyd who were around a few years ago, but you're probably too young for that too!

Aaaaah! I'd forgotton about The Saint!
I know about Nick Mason's 250 GTO though as I've seen it in the flesh on a couple of classic car events (and there is a picture of its butt in Evo this month!)
Cheers!
PS. At 32, I am too young to be into Pink Floyd!
