Default Newbie owner here read tho!!

Hey evryone, had my 96 turbo impreza only since sept last year but only recently been getting into it and making it look better... but jus wanted to say how polite n friendly all scooby owners are!! as soon as i had the car, and another impreza would be driving past, theyd flash, beep and wave, may sound silly but it does make ya feel in a community....past cars ive had havent been crap, had golfs, fords etc, but in my old cars u'd only get dirty looks from other boy racers, but with this car now, its much better, even old blokes in brand new ones give a wave and a nod, and u feel welcome, lol. might sound silly to u scooby veterans out there but jus thought id say how friendly everyone seems!

p.s any one know what the sky-blue coloured 03-shape impreza is called?? has either gold or grey metal coloured wheels on them, i think theyre called wr1's?? if thats right then can someone tell me its paint code? as i would like to spray mine in this exact colour and put those gold wheels on it, may aswell make my classic look like one until i go and buy a newer one! thanks every1

Ash

Yes they are called WR1's but Subaru did paint classics in the shade, mostly on estate turbo's. Kind of peppermint green.

Maybe wasnt this EXACT shade, but pretty goddamn near it.

Dunno if these pics will work, but this is the look im going for-for the classic, same colour and a set of the wheels in gold, maybe it'll look alright! Ill have to see if anyone can photoshop a classic scooby with the gold wheels, in that light blue colour

Welcome to the site.
Personally I dont think classic shape scoobys look very nice when painted in Ice Blue", for some reason it only seems to suit the newage cars.

Im gonna try n see if anyone can photoshop a classic with the paint job...u never kno tho. I have a really top notch spray bloke (birds stepdad) and he says as long as he gets the colour and the shine and flip of it right, maybe adding a darker "black" flip to it, it should look the same, eventually i want people to look at it once in that colour...then have to look agaain to finally notice its not a newshape wr1? maybe im jus dreaming, lol. I just really like the colour and the next scooby i buy will definitely be one of those
