Yep, 5 RB5's, 1 was mine
1 Dbm, 1 terzo, 1 P1, 1 08 sti And 1 22b all on the same stand. We should have called it the special editions impreza owners club rather than RB5 and RB320 club.
Oh and a good turn out from the RB320 side. None turned up great stuff

I was there too but on a different stand, the 22b with the rally graphics was the best car there all day if you ask me, it was really lovely.
Great day but was a bit of a nightmare getting out!! There was some kind of accident on the road outside the raceway and the police stopped everyone for leaving!! Sat in a there not moving just trying to get out of the stand I was on for just under 2 hours!!

The SIDC used to attend this show but I heard they're not attending so many shows this year as previous.
Must say I don't think I've ever seen so many hoodies and chavs in one place, as yesterday.

I ran mine on the saturday but due to the endless waiting around for the rain to clear (and then the 2 hours of endless track drying) couldn't be arsed to fry my car for a second day. Managed two runs on saturday some people didn't even manage that.
I did go though and there was some nice cars about. There was a very nice WR1 with a very shiny engine bay shame it was owned or at least being cleaned by a thouroughly grumpy sod !!! First grumpy impreza driver I met shame he had to have such a nice car really !!!
That jet powered car was immense, not for speed as it wouldn't have beaten the top fuel cars but for noise.... A W E S O M E !!!!
I've got loads of pics I'll upload at some point !!
On the track drying note ..... I can understand some cars being unsuitable to even the lightest amount of drizzle but ffs there was nobody (that I noticed) running slicks and a couple of cars would have dried it out in no time. the other problem which held up proceedings for an hour was they only had one medic on site. When someone in the crowd had problems they had to stop the racing until the 1 medic could return. With the number of people attending that was just daft.
I for one am looking forward to returning on a warm dry sunny summers day.

I will say, what a clean car that was, and i totally agree, a right misery the guy cleaning it. Possibly the cleanest engine bay i have ever seen, but that must be all he does. I think he was WYSOC. Dont quote me on that.
The Jet Car was a truly awesome sight and sound to behold....260mph at the time stand, just a blur!!

I'm sure it's stressfull getting a car that clean but I'm glad it aint just me who noticed he was a bit moody..... car was stunning though. I did want to ask him some questions but when he couldn't be bothered to even look up (you car was spotless at the time although to your eye maye not) it was made clear that "chit chat" was not an option !!!

Me too, i had a PM, so i thought i would justify myself too. I was amazed at the overall condition, and too wanted to know more, and as you say, was pre occupied with cleaning to notice.
Sure it was stressful for all showing, but even the Ford ST club made the effort to chat.
