May have been me, not sure though as drive around not really knowing where I'm going or where i am half the time (just looking for country roads for night time use). Think I remember briefly a uk300 flash pass on other side of road within last day or two, did not have chance to wave and saw you (maybe) to late. sorry

It was about 11.30 in the morning, I was very late for work due to
4 week old son having a bad night.
I don't tend to see a lot of UK300's about, perhaps because I'm
always half asleep nowadays.
see you around

Carpet,
Yep, I've had probs with mine also.
If I pull away quickly the CD jumps at about 4000 rpm (weird!)
I've looked into replacing it at INCA in WGC (very helpful) but I've just had a baby son (well, my wife has) and £500 for a new stereo is a little low on my agenda.
Are you going to the Prodrive live event?

Ok
Just to be different. I have had no problems with the CD player (are we talking multi changer or head unit) The multi Changer is under the Passengers seat. I rarely use the head unit CD.
That's proberly the kiss of death now
Overall the Head Unit is not what you would call kickin nor the speakers. But hey I did not buy the car for it's stereo.
I do not go around with it blarring out as it spoils the sound of the car
Volume usually set between 12 and 16. Go to 20 and the speakers start distorting.
All the best
