Twas I
I think it is as bad as it looked too, if not worse
It was suspension failure too - fairly major and catestrophic suspension failure due to a savage and unwarranted assault by a lump of concrete some smart-**** had dressed up as a kerb stone and left carelessly at the side of the roundabout...
So I don't s'pose I actually warrant much in the way of sympathy, more a pointed finger and a "ha ha"
As a helpful tip for anybody else out there: when using the heel-toe technique into a roundabout on the Hatfield Business Park make sure not to let your foot slip off the side of the brake pedal and onto the accelerator as you line up on the apex - it can get a bit messy...
It wasn't helped by the recovery truck dude saying cheerily, when he turned up three hours later "you don't want to be doing this sort of thing on a friday evening, it's always busy" and then, having inspected the thing, cheerily (again) telling me "well, you've f'ked that up good and proper"
Kudos to the dude in the B4 who stopped and offered assistance tho
And
to the Evo driver who went round the next roundabout and came back for another look
