was up north 27-30dec saw 4 scoobs in harrogate 2 in ripon 4 in darlington loads on the A1 including the old bill in a my99 was going to croft but the wife gave me too much grief apparently there was a good dozen over there.

I believe that Police Scooby has non standard spec. Followed it up the hill in Ripon the other day and my headlights lit up a big beefy pipe. Do they fit PPP on them?

I spend a fair amount of time in Ripon/Harrogate and for the record, they seem a fair bunch around here. That scoob seem to be there in a flash when there's a pile up on the A1 but never been troubled while pottering round the town............ there's time yet I suppose!! Got followed and stopped by a regular Panda jobby early hours a while back. Ended up chatting about Trackers etc. Ahhhh, the provincials eh?.......... It's like HeartBeat round here!!!

saw a black 4dr about 97 gold wheels so it may been a catalunya also a dbm on a v plate and a dgm 5dr my mate lives near grantley /ripon he says the police scoob from skipton is always on the A59 I think they all have the pro-drive goodies on.

The North Yorks Police Scoobs are all PPP. Bad news for them is there been fazed out soon for Volvo S60 T5s and Bora 4 motions I believe. Unlucky... Mal

Also seen a Forester running up and down A1 (not sure if it's a Turbo or not). Seems like N Yorks like their Subarus, but alas according to the above, not for long.

The Police Impreza was sat at FR Pulleyn in York about a month ago as I picked my new car...had a quick look round it and looked to have lots of toys...big exhaust...sump guards etc....

IIRC the N.Yorks Imprezas have some good drivers as well. I was on a rally course a couple of years back and they had an unmarked green sccoby that they were training some of the drivers with. The instructor that I had said that the main pursuit driver was an ex Group A sccoby rally driver which would make an interesting competition....
