Was it a woman? I saw a silver bug eye on the Newport Pagnell road, waved but she wasn't looking.

The person was so small that I couldn't see them, so it could be a woman (the same one you spotted).

the ford garage on the way into town (near the volvo & bmw) have one on their forcourt, perhaps a test drive.

I doubt it was a test drive as it was morning rush hour and the small person was alone.
