WR1 at Oulton Park yesterday
Great fun but bloody hard work. 2nd gear dif set to max rear bias and when the power comes in very quickly at about 3500 it was hard work to catch. 1st gear slower was better but didn't look so good :-) Where you driving?

Drifting an Impreza (in a controlled manner) isn't as easy as many would have you believe, even with DCCD.
It does make it a lot easier though- you should try it in a non-DCCD Impreza!
I only took the Impreza once; after a couple of hours I had it sussed- like you say, max bias to the rear- the easiest way to keep it smooth is to keep it on boost, but that's not very mechanically sensitive.
Glad you had a good day.
Cheers,
Simon

If I remember correctly, you seemed to be doing pretty well. Some of the CSL's were pretty good as well. I think the guys in the volvo estate probably had the best and cheapest fun!!!!
I think the yellow EVO should get the prize for best improvement during the day. Hopeless in the begining, but some nice drifts towards the end.
The Porsche 911 should get the prize for perseverence and gung ho attitude. Even managed to hit the tyres once!!!
