I decided not to go due to the weather forecast.

Did you see many runs?

no runs at all waited for nearly 3 hours for the rain to finish the sun came out and they said there was to much standing water to run any cars

I`ll be going back on the 28th too (wetaher permiting!) I`ll bowl over and say Hi, can help hold up the scooby flag against the EVOs and cossies! It`ll be my second time running in the scooby (many times previous in FWD Vauxhalls!) My first time i only got 4 runs cus it was soo busy and just couldnt get the launch anywhere near right! So hoping for much better times.

What spec is your car dude?

Avon aren't as good at drying the track as Santa Pod. I don't think their drying equipment is as good and/or the willingness to use it.

Pod are very good at drying the track.

Pod is just so busy these days!

I was launching at around 4K and dropping the clutch with diff set nearly locked, just kept bogging down. The car is only mildly modded, Scoobyclinic Decat Full System, Uprated fuel pump and remap. Oh and no back seats or boot trimmings, (only ever two of us in the car!) It made 316bhp in the middle of summer with ridiculous ambient air temps, and weighed in at 1195Kg on the weigh bridge. Ran 13.4 at Santa Pod, but my 60ft times where over 2 seconds so will go much quicker!

Yeah you should get a better time than that with a better launch. My wagon has a bit less power than yours and I got a 12.7 with a 1.7 60ft. Just rev it more. I think I was holding it at about 5000rpm maybe a bit more.
