Default Car not paid for! Seen my DBM classic N9KJW - LEEDS Seacroft/Monkswood/Whinmoor LS14

http://www.scoobyphotos.eclipse.co.u...im_blm_936.jpg (my car)

Sold my DBM Classic to my best mate of 15years (served in the Royal Signals together), were as close as friends/brothers can get!

Steve Firth you are a F*cking W*nker!

sold him my car in Jan 2006 - N9 KJW - Its my private plate that I've been trying to get back for 6 months - the car is a W-Reg 2000 Dark mica Blue uk Turbo with ppp extra's, Anthricite alloys/crystal lights/STI-rears.

He's paid me £3600 since January and will no longer answers my calls/emails - before i sold him the car we spoke a dozen times a week.
he still owes me over £3000 for the car, I've recently been told that i'm to be made redundant 13th Dec 06 & was knocked off my Honda CBR600RR-4 & injured in July (3rd party Fire&T) got no car or bike and paying for both, so I need the money - what can I do?

****e comes in 3's - looking forward to the end of 2006

He lives in the LS14 area of Leeds and is well known in the Seacroft/Monkswood/Whinmoor estates, but works up and down the country as a Telecoms engineer at BT exchanges..

Please contact me if you see this car.... or have any advice...

Obviously you do not class him as a m8 anymore so I would find him, knock him out and take back what is rightfully yours. Oh yeah give his missus a good ******** just to really **** him off!

get out all your old paperwork and keep it all together along with the receipt showng he still owes you the rest of the money.
go to your local county court and ask for the forms to fill in to take him to the small claims court, get official and take him to court!
it will cost you about £200 but you should get most if not all of our money back as the limit to claims in 5k
at least this way he cant just ignore you if hes been summonds to court,
he also may contct you earlier and pay up without having to go to court

I would tend to agree. You must have a couple of heavy mates you know that will do the deed for you if you dont want to get involved

nope, and never will be lol, waste of time IMO, send people round to take the car back from him, tell him you will give him what hes paid you, but in instalments.

the police i reckon will go after him, he will give some bolox story and they will tell you its a civil matter.

the vehicle check was done on www.rac.co.uk

Not quite.......

I would get adverts from various sources same age car, spec etc for a valuation.

did he pay you by cheque?? your bank statment showing what and when he paid you

last of all his name on the log book should not be a problem as YOU own the car, he is the current KEEPER

get some legal advice

good luck m8

Steve

First payment when he had the car £500 in cash with the promise of another £2000 a month later, then £500 every other week........I know your all saying fool, but I'd already sold him one of my cars in 2001 - Renault 19 RSI executive Convertible for £5000 - paided in full in less than a month, so he passed my credit test to the dismay of my misses.... F*CK hate it when she's right

Balance £6800
Paid
£500 1st Feb (cash/handshake)
£1000 8th march
£200 29th march
£250 3rd April
£500 2nd May
£200 16th may (Beverly)
£200 22nd may (Loughborough)
£300 27th may (Kendle)
£250 21st June (Hayes)
£250 23rd june (Hayes)
£200 25th july (Beverly)

Haven't spoke to him for over 3 months (no answer)
