Default Blue Subaru vs Escort Cossie

Witnessed a classic-shape scooby racing a black Escort Cossie along the new A130, Great Leighs to Braintree in Essex, on bank holiday Monday.

Scooby got blown away - big time! Was quite suprised.

Unlucky mate, who-ever you are.

Anyone know what that Cossie is running in terms of BHP? Think it was an L-reg and it definitely wasn't standard by the way it squatted under acceleration!!!

So if it was against a 'real' scoob it would have been a different story

Most Cossies left on the roads these days have somewhat more than the stock 220bhp!! I know of several in Essex that must be around the 350-400bhp mark. VERY quick cars at that level of tune...pity about the handling though!
