My Scoob stolen last night
Last night my Bugeye Blue WRX was stolen between the hours of 2.00am and 4.00am.
They broke into the house and just took the keys only.
If you see the car anywhere could you please phone Cheshire Police on 0845 458 0000 and quote crime number #311
Many thanks

You're right.................... do i really want it back if it gets used for a "Job"
I guess its just one of those things isnt it, you dont know unless you see the car again
It looks like they came for the car. There was other car keys there aswell, why not have that car also?
Jen, i wondered sometime ago about taking your car keys with you upstairs. Can you put your hand on your heart and say that if they couldn't find the keys downstairs, you would be happy to tackle them all tooled up, coming up the stairs? Just a thought, i came to the conclusion that no lump of metal is worth that trauma

Scumbags !!
I'll keep an eye out in the Widnes area for it.
They'd have to get past my Great Dane to get my car keys, best alarm dog to have, if you heard him growl at you in the dark you wouldn't hang around to see what it was.

You are right god know what they will do to you to get the keys.
If it was my car I would be hoping that when it is found it's a right-off and the insurance give me a good price for it.
Hope they get what they deserve for taking it.

sorry to hear that mate, i had a sierra cosworth nicked back in 1994 and it was used as a getaway car for a bank job, i didn't want it back and luckily the insurance company wrote it off so having it back wasn't a issue.

Why not have a hidden fuel cut off switch fitted so that even if they get the keys they still cant start it.Costs a couple of quid to buy an takes about an hour to fit.Hide the switch under the seat..in the boot....under dashboard...glove box any where to suit.I know they can still roll it away but I dont think they will spend too much time with it if they can't get it started after a few attempts and any thieving scum that trys to do the quick in and out of your house for the keys during the day wont be successful in a quick getaway either.
Hope it works out ok for you

`Kin scum bag, to$$ers, tnucs, i relly hope they plough into a tree, you get the car written off and they get their heads written off
My wife and i had two scoobs a couple of years ago, a P1 and a Type R. We were broken into whilst we were away in the P1, i assumed they were after my Type R in the garage, the neighbours disturbed them and they fled. I kept the Type R at work from then on. A couple of months later, i awoke at 3-30 am to the sound of the kitchen window being crowbarred open, i opened the bedroom window and saw one of them about to climb through, i shouted and they ran, but smashed the rear screen of the P1 on the way past.
We got rid of both cars straight away, it just wasnt worth the hassle. Bought a dog and a good house alarm(which is always on when we go to bed or out of the house). Im just so glad i woke up, the keys were in the bedroom with us, and i cant honestly say what i would have done if i had woke up with two thieves in my bedroom(a heart attack probably). Not slept soundly since, the slightest noise outside and im up at the window peering out.
I really hope that those scumbags get whats comming to them.
All the best
Paul

Hope they try for mine
They would get more than a set of keys, it's big and hairy and as freedom of house, and i don't think i would be able to call him off, in fact i know i wouldnt, i might even just ignore him till he's finished playing or full up, shame mate pity you couldn't get five min with em down a dark alley.

i park mine in a residential parking area, but it is close to the house and well lit, and everyone round here knows it, so i've had no worries yet.
i hope the same guys that break into burbles house to play with his dog come and play with my dog soon too! soft as sh*t til someone he doesn't know comes near the house, and if it was in the night and he was startled i hate to think of the damage he would do! or like to think of it!
