I have a extremely painful trapped nerve in my neck
My assigned Co driver did most of the Driving to get there
So I let him take me around the Ring in my Car
a mixture of Pain killers, german beer, little sleep and Garlic sausage took it's toll
no offence to my mates driving.Hopefully I didn't get caught on camera :rolleyes

Half of us were on the long table, the other half downstairs (they couldn't fit us all together).
Shame about all of the rain and fog on Sunday. Still I managed to get 2 laps driving and 3 as px

Hi Tony
I was there and I did see you coming off the track - hope you managed to get a few good laps in before the weather turned bad again. (It was much worse the next day, which was perhaps just as well otherwise I'd have been taking an extra day or two off work!).
We were all on the Scooby Stelvio tour 2005 - see http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=366379 for all the details

Hi Tony
Sorry to hear you weren't too well - we had a real blast at the Ring and also the whole Stelvio Tour. I saw your car on Sunday but didn't manage to catch up with you.
Someone managed to grab a pic of me in action.....

Managed a 9.59.2 sec from bridge to gantry during the driest part of the day - was still fairly wet in places but with a nice dry line for most of the track. A good time I think for my 1st ever visit to the Ring - it was my 7th lap (although played many times on GT4
)
I must admit that playing GT4 really helped - I think there is no way I could have cracked 10 minutes without playing the game previously - especially in those conditions. I can't wait to get back there in the dry though - and see what time I can get then
I also passengered MRK in his EVO8 with about 350/350 figures and he flew around in 8:40 in the wet - bloody amazing time and speed - scared me half to death
Another great display was Rog (The Admiral) in his hire car Pug 307 diesel with 90bhp scalping a Ferrari 360, Lotus Carlton, numerous Porsches, Scoobies and other cars that should be quicker.

Cheers
Terry

I think my best time was about 14 mins as my neck and back didn't like the G forces. The drifters were fun to watch

The wet sorts out the men from the boys
