Just to let the twillock who bought my car and has not yet advised the DVLA - I have - know that I will be denying all reponsibility for the 56 in a 40 zone in London on 21st July which had popped through my door when I returned from holiday today.
PS I have an excellent alibi - I was in Northern Italy.
Anybody else just watch out for this ejit.

I thought it was now down to the previous (selling) owner to send off the V5 and give the new owner the green slip, thus you dont get problems like this.....

The buyer claimed to be a dealer and gave me a garage address in Leeds.
Still its for the Met to sort out now - I hope.
