Me thinks that was me .... A48m out of Cardiff towards the Brynglas Tunnels ???? Thanks for the compliment
Nice looking P1, but was that an STi8 scoop I spotted, and not a standard exhaust? - very nice
Nice to be spotted , given up posting my usual spots due to lack of response
Gareth
PS... Just checked your profile to see if you were local - Happy Birthday for last Thurs, mines tomorrow (Mon) same year as well !!!!!!

yeah, thats you.
towards the tunnels! you can tell im not local cos i even got the wrong bloody road!
from leicester, was down there doing a bit of work on someone elses scoob in Barry. its an sti8 scoop, ugly as sin on a classic but more concerned with cooling. the 8 I/C is under there as well
would have floored it and gave you the full exhaust sound but running it in after a blow up. exhaust is an RCM jobbie.
by the way, sorry for hogging the outside lane. once i saw it was another scoob behind thought i would move over
happy birthday by the way, you look miles younger than me, must have been the shades you were wearing!

Nice to meet you...thanks for the compliment about the age, cheered me up a bit now I'm a year older, but you're right, it was probably the shades !!
I must admit I half expected you to floor it when I closed in and had the window wound down for a listen
The scoop looks well agressive when viewed in the rear view mirror, and suits the P1 better than the standard classic.
Hope you had a pleasant trip back - shame you couldn't floor the car through the tunnels - makes the car sound fantastic - a regular pastime for S Wales scooby owners
Cheers
Gareth
PS you were right about the road - it changes to the M4 at the intersection just after I passed you
