Flaming MR2!!
M4 tonight from Maidenhead to Reading, overtaken by a screaming MR2 (it was dark, but thats what it looked like)
Pulled in just ahead of me and both exhausts burst into flames!! Not just a pathetic puff, but a full blown 'melt my front bumper'!! It certainly lit up the Motorway!!
Left at the A33 junction with flames showing all the way up the slip road!
Anyone on here? Anyone know the car? How is it done? (don't think it was a flame kit ..... it look the proper business!!)

I would think it is done by having a turbo, and when you lift off the overly compressed gasses get fired out the very very hot exhaust. Lets think of a name for this car..... what about MR2 Turbo?
Does that keepit simple enough for you old man lewis?

I have an MR2 Turbo with decat and Blitz Nur spec exhaust, stage 5 hybrid turbo and built motor. Believe me, I get flames
They're actually louder than I expected them to be, but I have to smile when I get one
And tuscan57 is right, being midengined the exhaust isn't exactly long.
