The Nightmare is over! ;-)

Alright Guys n Gals.
I is one happy chappy tonight!! Now let me tell you all a story.
Once upon a time ....................
Seriously though, I decided approx. 6 weeks ago to sell my UK MY97 Scoob and get something a little cheaper to run as I was proposing a house move. As many of you know, I sold off all the goodies on my UK Scoob and ended up chipping it in for an MR2 GT T-Bar . BIG F***ING MISTAKE. Oh yeah the MR2 will return 35+ mpg and has Aircon, Leather etc. but what a naff driving machine. You have to rev the wheezy 2.0L lump to somewhere near 7,000 rpm to get any sought of performance. At this point, it sounds as if the engine is gonna jump on through the bulk head and join you in the cockpit. Nightmare! I cannot believe Toyota have the gaul to call it a sportscar.
Anyway, I have remidied my temporary lapse of sanity and got myself the ultimate re-habilitation device.
MY99 STi V Type R V-Limited.
Wahhhhhhaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy
I am so happy. It's great to be back on board. The new house is taking a back seat for a while but frankly i don't give a monkey's! You don't know how great the Scoob is until you have to live with something else. Guy's and Girl's we should be saying our prayers of thanks to the Scooby Gods for giving us all such awesome machines.
Anyway, i'm off for a celebratory pint or two or three ............
Cheers
Chris

Well done chris. I did wonder why you'd gone for an MR2 in the first place. Hope you managed to re-coupe the costs.
It seems you have reached scooby utopia...I am well chuffed for you.
It seems I am now lagging behind in the car stakes somewhat....my sti dreams will not be fulfilled for the time being
Anyway...I am enjoying my UK car again...which is nice...I dare say I will enjoy it even more when the new brakes arrive in a couple of weeks...what I don't have in outright speed...I should be able to make up in braking power.
Send us a mail...tell me all about the car, std ?, mods ?, price etc.
hope to see you soon
Ian (non Type R owning member of the midlands type R club).
ps: I will hide my humble uk car chrisp takes the photos LOL

This will make y'all laugh a little I lost £1500 on the MR2 in 6 weeks!!!! Now that's depreciation.
Cya all soon.
