RB5 at Thurrock services before tunnel fun
Followed a nice RB5 into the Thurrock services on Saturday evenin' for the ESC tunnel fun gathering.
Some nice 18" wheels & no. plate L ** WRC. Oh yeah and a S/S back box that had been polished to within an inch of its life.
I was in the STi7 no. plate **** SUB - with blue rally style mudflaps.
Think we've exchanged waves a few times before on Essex Regiment Way nr Chelmsford??

That was me, the exhaust I cant take credit for polishing, its new!
I drive down there everyday for work, you normally head of for braintree dont you? What exhaust you got on yours, it sounds great

Hi RB5201. Yup I'm from the Braintree area.
Exhaust system is Prodrive which came as part of the PPP. Like many systems it sounds better once it's HOT. The unburnt Optimax on lift off pops n bangs nicely then.
Will keep my eyes peeled for you in the future.

Didn't realise you were there last night if I had seen the number plate I would have recognised it as its my old car! Shame, but there were so many at thurrock it was just mad trying to spot people

Added a few bits such as eibach springs and 18" superlegs, also just swopped the prodrive back box for scoobysport for a bit more of a rumble May see you at the next one
