I was somewhat surprised that I couldn't shake you (in a straight line at least)

Mine has been remapped so should be pushing out about 300 bhp/ 300 lbft although I haven't had it RR'd since the remap.

I assume your's isn't standard.... what are you pushing out then?/ what mods??

Interesting...... remap ur only mod?

I was suprised too, knew yours couldnt be standard as i thought i wouldve edged away if it was. Also, i as taking it easy on the bends coz i got some pants tires temporeraly

Think im pushing out about 280-300 bhp and torque, mods;

-exhaust
-uprated turbo
-head work
-front mount intercooler.....

......but it really needs a re-map, and im running a bit lean, so still a bit of power to unlock i reckon.

Nice one mate -that would make for a very fast car - without the 4-wheel drive transmission losses that the Scooby has, with similar power figures, should make yours a bit quicker - sounds like you're right about getting the remap done - it will make a difference. Best to find someone who will actually create a custom map for your car, as opposed to an off-the-shelf chip.

Have you taken it on track yet?? I went to Castle Combe last week and it was awesome..

As for the biker - yes I saw him - he was quick in a straight line, but went past him on the sweeping left-hander onto the M275...

Im not actually from around there, Londoner myself, was just going down for some bussiness... so not sure if i can make it. Have a good one though

Interesting to compare motors in a 'real world' test, think im running 280ish bhp, compared to your 300+ so thats why there was nothing it it, as you said, you will have more transmission losses. Hopefully i will be over 300 when re-mapped.

What do the p1's usually get in you state of mods??....

Well it's 276 bhp standard and with a decat (may add another 20bhp) and remap it may push toward 320bhp - we'll see when I get it on the rollers.
