Hmmm, Is it just me, or are neons a good sign that the person behind the wheel is likely to be a plonker!

Apologies to any Sensible owners out there, but I've yet to encounter one of you on the road!

Tends to get like that on the first Sunday of every month round Guildford way - courtesy of the Guildford Cruise...

It's not too bad early on in the evening, but as it gets later...

I thought that neons were illegal on the road???? Why is it that plod is happy enough to pull us over for driving at 31mph in a 30 limit but will not pull over the "barry fest" kids in their neon-ed motors?

makes me sick

seen a few - oh and after leaving the pics in Guildford last week (bedford rd car park) some smart a*se in a souped up Nova (ha ha ha ha) tried to cut a line of us up (he had neons) and guess what? no-one let him in! He had to wait ages in the end shaaaame (NOT)

I heard that neons are only illegal if the tubes can be seen (ie. the 'glow' of light is ok)
We have the Pizza delivery step through scooters round our way with neons now WTF

Regardless of your driving you have to deal with the neon-stigma which I fully agree with, cause IMHO they look totally naff so why do it...this is a car that’s supposed to be driven-a drivers car not a hairdressers motor!!
