.........there's no way you can compare that to the EVO WRC '04, 'cos the EVO keeps breaking down!!

be interested to se the time it does around the now top gear track.

Wouldn't the WR1 also win a sprint !!
I agree about the sound of the scooby - In McDonalds drive thru the other day and one started up (Evo 330fq), sounded like a fiesta with a big exhaust
Scooby all day long for me......

A woman drives past my house in a M-reg Fiesta on a regular basis....and for the past 4 months at least it has been running on 3 cylinders, the exhaust blows a bit too.
Guess what it sounds like??...
You got it....A scooby!

Too fast in and im sure if the DCCD was adjusted for a bit of rear bias there could have been one superb scandinavian flick through that "hammerhead" with the car on a really tight line rather than that understeering scrub effort we were witness to!

"i didntlike the colour of the scoob"
I have to agree with you sarasquares, my friend calls it "nail varnish blue" - says he went to look at one and it was parked next to a Micra which was exactly the same colour - thinking about part ex-ing his RB5 but decided it was overpriced.

Slightly different spoiler on the back
Wheels
Other than that they're practically identical
Not exactly massive, so how can you 'love' the VII but not the VIII?
(or do you mean the V & VI?)

lets get back to the subject at hand.....
although the cars on the track is great fun to watch its all a load of cr*p really, bit like the cool wall If us scoob owners had our way they'd have to ship in an iceberg and sit a WR1 on top, now that aint gonna happen is it.
as far as i know (flame suit on) the scoob / evo and dare i say it the Focus RS are loosely based on rally cars NOT track cars.
Now heres an idea run all the cars on the list around lets say a gravel and mud track and see what happens (apart from writing off a few) that would be worth the tele licence fee alone
now lets come at this from another angle shall we (coz im bored)
take a stock scoob, throw £300 K at it (price of the Porche BTW) and you get yourself a full on WRC car, set it up for tarmac and THEN see what happens
