Blue classic a few cars behind me - could have been a P1 - looked well beastly from the front.
And a loydoy driving a blue bug eye on at Birchwood junction.

Both Manchester bound - didnt have an opportunity to wave at either as was too busy nursing hangover - suprised my eyes were open long enough to notice ya both - hee hee only kiddin!

I was merrily trooping down there today on my way to Oldham today, but neither of them is me (I did see 2 silver classics and a blue one though) - to far away in traffic to wave!

Are you sure it was an STi8, mine's a blue SpecC - very similar but I've got a black carbon spoiler on the back instead (easiest way to tell from a distance)

May of been a spe c then. I was on the Birchwood express way nearing the M62 roundabout and it was coming the other way. Never noticed the spoiler, but the scoop looked bigger than the radiator opening !
