New Red Evo in Swindon
Matt, was that you in the new, red Evo this morning?
I thought I saw you rumble past me yesterday in the traffic - have you given up on Scoobs already?
Paul.

Yes it was. Was disappointed that the Sti was not much different to the old one, that and the residuals are really low at the moment. Scoobys are common as muck round Swindon so wanted something a bot more exclusive.
Plus the fact when I drive past Akers Way school I don't get stared at because most of them don't know what an Evo is!!! lol
So have got myself an FQ330, awesome bit of kit, with leather\smart nav\18" Speedlines, better colour too, the black was a b1tch to keep clean.

Hi Matt,
No wonder you were grinning from ear to ear, I thought it looked a bit 'special'!
Pity about the STi, but from what I've read I'm not altogether surprised - it did look good in black though, especially when it was clean. Scoobys are quite popular (sounds better than common) around Swindon, but it's more people to wave to, except the po-faced old woman in the silver classic :-)
Enjoy your new toy - I might still wave occasionally!

Too true - seen her around too!
And yes, popular is a better term. Two decent dealers tho', Whites and Simpsons have a lot to do with that.
