White WRX classic in Barbados
Spotted a lovely white WRX with a Blitz (or similar) exhaust in the traffic in Bridgetown, Barbados while on holiday last week. Also a couple of sports with tubo bonnets and wheels...
Lots of nutty locals in Toyota Starlets all tricked out plus a Sunny GTiR and of course the fastest things on the island - the local 'suicide' buses. Pumping sound systems and crammed full of passengers all racing to each stop - wild!

Our first time in Barbados was at the Escape at the Gap, last times were the Escape at Prospect Bay further up the West coast. We went to The Ship Inn at the gap on Saturday night and saw the live calypso band - awesome.
Have a good time and down a Banks for me!

Casuarini Beach Club is great. Just watch out for the odd falling palm leaf. Knocked my Rum and Coke over last time I was there.
Are ya gonna do the Jolly Roger ??

Graham,
Yes, we love the whole feel of Barbados and think it's the most relaxing place we've ever been. Have you been on the submarine yet? Amazing experience unless you're claustrophobic in which case it will be a nightmare :-)
The helicopter ride is good too.
Anyway, have a good time.
Yeah mon!

Guys have you ever been to Tobago, I used to go to Barbados a lot about 10 years ago but it has become a bit commercialised. If you want a beautiful Carribean Island without all the fuss the Tobago is the place. A great time to go is the Great Race when the boats race from Trinidad to Tobago, great party !!!
I was there in October, the Hilton Golf course is also fantastic and I am going back this Christmas. I was born in Trinidad so know the score with the Islands, roll on Christmas

Had a week in Tobago when we first went to Barbados on a 2 centre holiday. Lovely place and had a tour of the island which included a trip across to Little Tobago which is a mile or so offshore. I thought we would be on a decent sized boat (not a good swimmer!) - it turned out to be a local rasta fisherman called Farley with a rowing boat and a f*cking big outboard motor who thought he was Steve Curtis!
He kept swinging the boat up on it's sides while telling us how dangerous the ocean currents were there. Scared the crap out of me although it was a real experience also as he guided us around the rain forest on the island as well.

You gotta love those Rastas, not a care in the world and always so friendly

I would say Barbados offers the best beaches of the Caribbean Islands but each of those islands are superb.I was there 3 weeks ago for a month and went to 4 Caribbean countries to work.Enjoy it !

You will see lots of scoobs without turbo out there. Most of them have no spoilers. They get cheap jap imports and ship cheap second-hand cars from Europe and do them up so loud.It suits their style and looks bl**dy cool! Lime green with huge exhaust suits the climate the best.

I stayed at Club Rockley when i went a couple of years ago, lovely golf course that ran through the middle of it.Rockley beach was a fantastic place too, none of them chancers that try to sell you the gold jewellry that turns green in the sea .Went into St lawrence a couple of times too, very strange kind of place to go,the taxi driver took us through the little back street village and showed us where to buy drugs Defo recommend barbados to anyone,im going to have to go again
