Im pretty sure it was a 5 yeah (im no expert, but i know it was very nice.....think he ran 13.5 in the run we were going down for)

haha, did i ****! i bodged up the start (bouncing off the limiter i think...) then ground 4th gear which has knackered it!!! so it will off to a dealer to get fixed soon :P think i ended up with a 14.5 on that run despite all that went wrong!!
Now at least i know who you are, it was bugging me before!!

I havent killed the whole box, just the synchro in 4th, so not if i try to go from 3rd to 4th above about 2800 rpm it crunches everytime.
It happened after id done about 4000 miles in the car, so i know pretty much whats happened. Except i had to drive it for about 2 months before it was fixed last time, resulting in not just the synchro in 4th needing to be replaced, but 3rd and 4th gear cogs, AND 3rd and 4th gears synchro.
Lets just say that im doing many a block change from 3rd to 5th......
still, ill have it sorted soon.
For some reason 4th seems to be a VERY weak gear indeed. but its not the first 03 that ive heard of t have this problem either, just annoying!!
