Talking Scoobys in Melton Mowbray...

See lots about since I moved onto the area...

Blue STi MY04 going up Burton Road late Sunday morning. Waved

Red MY04 passed me Friday night on the A606 near Frisby on the way to Melton. Seemed in a hurry..

Plus others I've seen but can not remember the details...

Yea, I think I've seen you a few times. I'll keep an eye out. The police aren't that bad are they? There does seem to be a few saxo/corsa types about I've noticed.

Mines the one with MY99 wheels, MY00 interior and a Powerflow exhaust.

hi all,

i am from melton, well not too far away. My girlfriend lives at the top of Scalford road, and am in melton from time to time. I have an sti 8 in the wrc blue (it wasnt me at the weekend). I also have two other mates in melton, one with a silver sti8 and another with a wrc blue sti7 who runs the mash tub.

It would be good to meet up with a few of you, there is a jap meet on a wednesday at the hobby horse & Durham Ox, check the link below:

http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=312559

Any of you guys off to the fast show this weekend?

Cheers,

Andy

Andy,

I've seen you friends STi7. I think it had one of the driving/fog light covers missing??

Can't make the meet, but perhaps we could meet up informally in a couple of weeks (give me a chance to clean the car )...

Hi Nimbus

I hadn't long washed mine on sunday when i saw you...

thinking of changing my wheels or getting them refurb'd as when i had new tyres the kid at kwik fit fitting them managed to screw all the paint around the rim ... dont know if they suit the car or not?, was thinking of getting some silver prodrive alloys instead....

Saw a few more this morning... Are they getting too common

Red 4 door (early model UK I think). After market exhaust. Turned down Craven Street then Dalby Road. Not sure where you went after that. Got stuck at the junction.

Silver 4 door with Sti 4/5 wing. Maybe silver wheels (lots of spokes I think). Going past the new Barrat development opposite the police station. Not sure if that was you Yuck..

Personllay, I prefer silver wheels. Gold looks OK, but only on WR Blue IMOH. Can't you claim frim kwik fit? Numpties...

i would have claimed against them for that! I tend to get Walkers tyres to sort my tyres as they can take up to 22" on their machines!
