Hello again,I will try and get the Dorset gang to venture into this area again when the evenings are lighter for a meet if you are interested? We have a few more people locally beginning to use Scoobynet and the SIDC website so hopefully more people will come along to the meets.

what brakes you putting on, mines not really had much done only scooby ecu and prodrive back box, looking at window tints,clear indicators, definate d/pipe decat in may and money permitting some eibach springs plus maybe shocks but not all at once-not that flush at mo!

no picture of me wheels yet..... they are still on a boat from the USA at the moment.......

go to www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk and have a look at the RS gt's they are like that but jet black with a silver rim. I dont think there are more than two or three sets in the country.... TSL had them on their STi 3 show car in Fast car mag a couple of months ago.....

I'm from andover as well. i'm currently living between there and tidworth at the moment (off to nottingham in may)

Anyway, I've got a silver MY99 STi5 4dr with minor mods -

Scoobyworld Ninja backbox
& some other internal mods


I usually go to the andover meets, normally work dependant though (i travel a lot with my job )

Did either of you get your tints done locally? If so where and how much??

Chris, i can sympathise with the moving about bit (Work in not so sunny Larkhill at mo-moving to god knows where in june/july).

Is the Ninja backbox in your face noise wise?

 

The tints on my Sti were allready done when i bought it

when i had my UKMY98 i got my tints done by a company called 'sentry screen' based in poole, my mate had his done at the same time (Catalunya199, also in larkhill at the time) so the bloke came to my work and did them, cost us £140 cash each.

I think GP got his done by secur-fix in basingstoke, think he paid more too.

Ref the Ninja, it is loud on full chat, but quiet when you take it easy, saying that i do have all the cats on still, so can't comment on a decated one.

yeh, i think it was a good job as any i suppose. they guaranteed it for the life of the car and said they would come back if there was any problems, and sure enough they did when:

a. i noticed small tear in one of mine (replaced whole window film)

&

b. Cat199's front drivers side was totally gashed from his elecy window (replaced whole window film)

Came back at a time suited to us, apologised, fixed it and left, no drama's.

Had my tints done at securfix as chris says.....07970193498 Basingstoke. Price depends on car. Think i payed £190 but they are nice and no probs. Im sure most places are similar though to be fair. I had to take my car to them though.
