Hello to all fellow scooby owners who all gladly waved back to me today in the Macc/Buxton/Cat&Fiddle area. 100% waves today, which is the first in a long time. I was in silver bug eye.

 

used to be my fav road 18months or so ago om my bike but all the fun was stopped by the OTT police clamping on everything and anything (been using the A49 mainly since with no trouble, but not as much fun). Have thought about going up in the scoob, are things quiet up there at the mo?

I stay away from there on weekends, esp if dry and sunny. Mid-week lunchtimes (ah the joys of working from home) and evenings are the most quite times with little or no police about.

Best bit was getting past the artics that go over that way! Make sure they are aware you are behind them and blast them out of the slower corners, making sure they do not take them too wide. Most seem happy to let you past.

Only 1 copper yesterday, on the run up out of Macc, so wasn't going particularly fast.

 

I will have to go for a play when I get my car back, I have never really played up there in a car but I think the scoob was made for it.

 

i was up on the macc rd 2 day in the wet,lots of fun. mark
