Wasnt it the one that was done for a show... and it was eventually sold for around 10k I think.

 

This was at the Northern Big One and I think the lad was from Peterlee.

 

we saw it at NBO also it's going in max power or already has been.

I belive he had it imported 4 around 4k, but got smashed up a bit on the trip over. Around 8-10k to the spec it is now. Think it was in Jap Performance.

Sorry if this belongs to you - I am not being horrible or owt, but I jsut dont' get all that tarting cars - maybe it's growing up in an area where most of the local ****** read max power and did stupid things with XR2's and Nova GTE's. Some cars are ugly as standard and some tasteful minor cosmetic surgery is needed to make them easier on the eye. I can understand that some people do it as a kind of self experssion of individuality (not sure what pink says ) But I would rather spend that cash on making it go faster, stop faster, go around bent and twisties faster. Surely making your car pink and putting silver bits down the size, a surf board on the boot, etc etc, is just screaming I SPEED, PLEASE PULL ME OVER OFFICER!?

I prefer to drive around in stealth, with only the odd car enthusiast understanding what my car can do, but drawing as little attention as possible. You're so going to get a rep with the local police (and just about everyone) with a disntictive car if you are prown to being a bit right foot heavy, especially with that scooby throb reverbarating around.

I wonder how many points he has??

Its a guys and he was selling it for £9995. Was at Max Power in July and has been in the mag already.

I couldn't say it's a very nice car, but the job has been done well, that's as nice as I can be I am affriad :/

 

Nowt wrong with expressing yourself with a different paint job. I think a lot of you are just plain rude (read, just plain probably).

Nothing wrong with expressing an opinion either. And in your opinion you dont agree with what has been said and you think its plain rude or we are plain, then even though in my opinion you are wrong i dont mind you having that opinion even if that opinion is totally wrong, and possibly plain rude.

Depends what you're trying to express really?

Normally I can't drive but my car looks good, or worse, my ***** aint' big, and I havne't got a bird, but don't my car look like them cars in fast and furious!

Come on we're only kidding, and yeah why should we say we don't like it any more than you should say you do.

Frankly I have to say, I really sensor my opinions in here, as not to offend people as much as I can!

 

my opinion was i liked it, its not everyones cuppa tea, same as flat cap, pipe, and slippers isnt anothers!

theres plenty of people that own scoobys that change cosmetic things, spoilers for instance, how many people have changed the standard spoiler for a prodrive or fat wr one? or alloys?

loadsa stuff, I dont like his spoiler, and its a bit too pink, apart from that i like it, im in the process of stripping mine at the minute so I can "make it my own" I cant wait for the comments on that one!

Ive seen pink cars and some of them look really nice.

But you cant spray a car pink, still a spoiler on, lexus lights and a bit of graphics and say look at me. Nothing else was done to the car - no interior, ice or engine goodies.

Now if everything was done (or more) i think it would look better as it means he has tried to do everything to look different and will stand out.

But a coat of paint just doesnt do it for me

 

This is a good example of when too much cash destabilises the money to taste ratio...
