In the real world? Which one is that then? Not the one you're in... You ought to check the performance figures of a Type R.

The thread-starter's "From: MY99 WRX to STi5 Type R" kind of gives the game away on the type of Type R referred to.

Oh my god, what have I started

visitor111 - check out the SIDC website as that gives a rundown on scoobies and their power ouput. According to the Porsche website, the Boxster S will reach 60 in 5.7 - the STi 5's are closer to 4.5.

So is that an import to the UK? Is it much the same to a P1

However laughing at the Mishaps of others, is a little out of order don't you think?

The Type R is indeed an import and equivalent to the P1.

FLAME SUIT ON: Most would argue that the Type R is a better car : FLAME SUIT OFF

To the **** in the Porsche Boxter S who span it and hit the kerb in Woking about midday.

- I did warn you that you can't out-accelerate or out-corner a Type R, but you wouldn't listen!

Still, let's hope the damage doesn't cost you too much (although the old flatbed recovery vehicles aren't cheap!)
