Michelle,

despite all of your "participation" in the various Midlands events, i have yet to see your Scoob. Maybe it doesn't exist

You're not alone. No-one sees me either. And no-one waves. I Must look like a real miz old git!

I pass three or four parked up several times every week and none of them read this page I reckon.

Chelle, did no one tell you about the stealth button under the dash on a wrx???

You cannot see it for that itself is stealth mode!

I have found a way to disable this feature...

Disconect battery for 1 hour 45 mins.

Reconect battery

Depress clutch

Press brake 3 times

drive for 2 hours at a speed above 40 mph without stopping.

And then the switch will reappear, simply turn this off.

Question

cryptwalk,

are you sure that this works for older models - i though that it was only MY00 onwards?

My car has a stealth mode which turns on / off randomly!

There I am; driving down the road; minding my own business and cars start pulling out in front of me. Its a good job my brakes are good

If you are referring to the Wales trip, I was in hospital after passing out.......not just alcohol, combination of factors and I was treated for a suspected blood clot that is why I was admitted.

Am still recovering too

Cool

CryptWalk,
I tried that on my 95 model and still didn't work,
If anyone knows how to activate Stealth Mode when Parked I'd be grateful.
Key scratches don't suit my car and just make me angry.

My dealer must have activated my stealth mode for me and then disable the switches to turn it off.

I never get a mention here, no matter how many Scoobs I see.
