Amazed, I am working in the Faroe Islands at the moment and what should I see and hear, a classic scoob on full chat flying past.

Yep they do
And suprisingly very good roads.
Imagine the Monte WRC twisty into the mountain stuff, and NO SPEED Cameras, although if local plod catch you speeding you better have plenty of cash in the bank
