Nah I'm always heading towards site as well. I have seen the one you mean usually on the days I'm going in early (very rare, if I can help it).

Me lives west cumbria, drives up to work in carlisle most days (booo!). usually see a yellow sport and a silver turbo passing in opposite direction in the mornings but never get a wave off either.

I travel up to Cumbria every Sunday night, for a couple of days. I am working out and about on various stretches of the M6 up there for the next few months can't miss me Green Forester with a yellow flashing light on the roof usually sitting on the hard shoulder.

Will give you a wave on my way from Lancaster to Penrith tomorrow morning
