As opposed to a blue RB5, or a green one?

Andrewj, I was joking and I'm sorry if I made you feel bad. It wasn't intentional, as I tried to show with the smilies. It was meant to be lighthearted. Again, sorry if it missed the mark.

 

PS the only reason I know that RB5s were only made in grey is I drive one. Personally I can't tell all the different shades of blue apart.

 

No problem Kitty. It's just that there are so many smart-***** on here, it's difficult to tell when someone's being friendly sometimes.

I do love the car...makes my MY99 DBM Turbo look almost cheap!

 

Oh, I'm not saying I'm not a smart ****, just that I usually don't intend to be nasty.

Since the colour is Steel Blue/Blue Steel, I imagine it says blue, but I can't be arsed to dig the V5 out to check.

I checked mine and it does say blue, so all RB5s are blue

when looking up the paint code for an rb5, it comes up in the "blue" list too. besides the name given to the colour is in fact, blue steel.

 

RB5 sales brochure says the same Blue Steel.

Which makes total sense, as anyone looking at one would naturally describe it as blue...

 

Except mine, which is purple.

Nice bit of paintshop work although I would like to point out the car has orange indicators and where I come from that a criminal offence Who changed the colours of the cars ? Did it take long ?

I did it and it was about 30 minutes work.

And yes, it has orange indicators. I quite like them.

 

If I send you a picture of my car, could you repaint it in black ? Are you limited to file size (i.e. do you use dialup) ?
