Traveled up from Bucks up to Shrewsbury via M40/M42/M6/M54
saw P1, silver wagon classic,red wagon classic.Around 10.30 to 12.30 today (sunday)
Then back down same route to junction 6 to Henley.
Spotted 2 WRX DBM classic, one of them was a guy pulling a trailer.
Waved to all of them and did i get anything back? Did I buggery !!!
About six hours of driving, 300 odd miles and nothing.
Sod the lot of ye.
Next time i wont bother.

Right I will clarify.
Up north is for any journey past the watford gap!!Since all sotherners think that is where the north starts and the south finishes.(since im Northern born but live in the south i can demark areas how i bloody like LOL)
the title would have been too long if i wrote it as up the m40 , heading for north wales, but stopped short off and hung around the shropshire area......
Im sure all those who replied are wavers, maybe its just my luck that everyone i spotted was a miserable git.

We wave, but we know why no one goes to Wales. The Feds there are a bit too keen. We got stopped because our number plate had been 'tweaked'. The Fed concerned followed us all the way round Newtown and then did the blue light bit. Got off with a warning after a bit of chatting-up and he said he did like the STI 8 tho. While we where having our "chat" 4 old ladies got mugged, 2 crack-heads OD'd and 4 sheep got shagged. That's the last time I go to Wales.

Owners don't always know about the wave. I blame the dealers. Dealers (perhaps particularly up north?) should be educated to let buyers know their obligations.
BTW I know where Thirsk is.

I used to wave when I first bought an Impreza Turbo, back in April of '94. After 5 cars and almost 200,000 miles, I can't be bothered now and concentrate on driving. Why's it such a big deal?
