Are you taking the mick???

No it not the hazard switch. I have a my94 and have also seen it on a my98. it is an extra switch not part of the standard set.

Anyone Else any ideas?

Jason,

Sorry, I was yes... humour obviously not my strong point on a monday.. doh..

Seriously though, sounds like the rear window heater switch.. is it just below the center air vents?

Cheers, Alex

don't suppose you have a piccy of it do you?

I've got a MY94 WRX Wagon, and the only amber lights I've seen are for the A/C and the re-circulation switch. Both of which are above the heater controls.

Never had a ford never want a ford. My thoughts on ford are " Ford ..Made to mend " could be there new sales line.

Also on the AC and recirculate no found them thanx.

Reheater switch comes with the great little indicator line on the main console.

thanx for all the attempts thus far.

No found that aswell.

It doesn't seem to actually do anything that i can see. No other indicator lines come on etc

I'll take a picture and post it tomorrow if I get the chance.

Have sent Matt some pics for his secret lab6 site. So please check there in the near future.

Glad someone had the same problem I did. Except that when I got mine, a friend suggested that it may be a diff lock or something of that nature (yes I know, but I was little greener two years ago). So I kept well away from it. That was until I was in the car with my girlfriend driving. Whilst travelling at 70mph (motorway) she asked what it was at the same time as pressing it. After my screems faded and I realised nothing had happened it was of huge relief that she had just switched on the rear foglight.......don't have fog in japan you see. Just smog from all the tuned Skylines.........
