Been in Cambridge this week. Not many waves up here though - and they say people are unfriendly in London!

Bug Eye wagon in black, Newmarket Rd to Hills Rd, Sat 11.30am
Classic wagon, DBM, parked outside PC World, Sat 11am
Classic wagon, Bright Red, filling up at Shell, Hills Rd, I think, on Wed or Thurs afternoon. Said 'hello'

Blue and silver classics who didn't wave earlier in the week.

Ah, so there are a few Cambridge scoobs on here. Nice.

Saw another this evening at the Sainsbury on Coldhams Lane I think it's called. Silver this time.

Do you guys ever get together?

There is a Cambridge meet most months at The Plough in Fen Ditton - nice pub right on the river with a large car park. Keep an eye in Southern for Cambridge Meet posts.

Ive only been to a couple and am about to get rid of the Scoob for something cheaper as moving to Reading.

There are a few P1's, a couple of Sti 7's an Sti 8, loads of Porkas from Boxsters to GT2's, lamborghinis, ferraris (loads of em), Skylines and a nice Evo 6 TME in red that looks ace. Some nice cars driving around Cambridge.

I'm always driving around the cambs area (sti8). I also keep attempting to appear at the Cambridge meets, but my fiance keeps finding things for me to do.

OK, that's more like it. Nice to know you're up here fellas.

Haven't seen many interesting cars driving around in the past couple of weeks. An alarming number of saxos and novas, as well as a few escorts.

Have seen a few stickered-up Jap cars driving around in the day, and a black ctr with tints just now on Regent St.

Will look out you lot, since I'll be around here for a while.

Pbone are you the Sti8 in St Neots or the one that works on the Cambridge Science Park that I drive past every day?

Cool

I'm often in Cambridge too and I always give a wave to other scoobys.

Little miss fire, I think the blue P plate car is my mate Bob. It's an STI-RA with three doors and lots of go!

There is another guy I see every day on the science park with a DRM Turbo who parks in the same place every day without fail. Keep thinking I should get some SN cards to leave on windscreens

With this many in and around cambridge we should be bumoing in to each other on every corner. Maybe a gathering of scoobs in the not too distant future is in order.

I work & drive in Cambridge & drive a T plate silver classic. I'm sorry if I don't wave sometimes as I'm concentrating on not mowing down the no brain cyclist. I have heard quite a few scoobys going past the office on Hills Road, but can't see from where I am.
I do however agree that there are quite a few misrable bxxgers around here who look at you when you wave as if you have given them the finger.
P.S. don't buy your Optimax from the Hills Road Shell as there Optimax pump is faulty, it sometimes says its putting petrol in when it isn't. Only found this out when a full tank supposedly cost £52.00 !! Get it from four Went Ways instead.
See you around

...or Shell Newnham....but you never know how much fuel costs there until you get to the pump. Must be the only filling station i've ever seen without a price pole.
Rip off petrol prices in Cambridge. Always more expesive in Cambridge then anywhere else.

I'm often in Cambridge, but the only Scoobs i usually see are on Welches forecourt in Stapleford.

If a white Transit waves or flashes at you in Cambridge it will be me...happy to see a Scoob...:-)

My Scoob is a highly polished W reg Classic in Mica Red (looks especially good in bright sunlight) with a Ninja Exhaust.

Question

pappasmurf, was that you I just saw at 12.30 on Hills Road going towards the train station. Lovely bright red classic with high level spoiler, wearing a baseball cap. Didn't see the reg. Or anybody else, nice looking car.

Mine W reg Classic in Mica Red with 16" silver wheels and the STI spoiler... i think it's called ( the semi high one).

Was in Cambridge today in my Tranny and saw a rather nice shiny Black WRX with Gold wheels. A WRX03 i think?

smurfy.

I think I saw that baseball cap wearing Bright Red classic on Sat near the Waitrose. I remember him cos he blanked me - twice in 1 day! LOL. Prob not considered 'cool' to wave by the baseball cap wearing 'East Anglia massive'.
