Was making progress up the M40 this evening, towards the M42 junction, and there was a group of, I hate to use the term, but I will... "Max-powered" cars going along in convoy. Was a silver golf, a Civic I think and something else. Plus one on a trailer.
I assume going to some sort of event / meet?

I was driving past the NEC yesterday on the M42. Saw a few "Maxed" cars go by in the heavy "stop - go" traffic. Felt sorry for the girl passanger in one of them. The driver, keen to show everyone how fast his car was, would accellarate into the gap ahead, then brake sharply as he got to the car infront. As the car ahead pulled away, he would accellatre full bore again and stop sharply. All I saw was his Laydeies head getting shoved back and forward by his antics. Could not have been a very comfortable ride..

The ones I spotted were pottering along at about 65 in the inside lane. Might have been the weight of all the spoilers on them that reduced their top speed?
