Quality town

Never had any problems with car crime in Bath and I've left the P1 parked up there a few times overnight.

Of course Optimax is available - it's two hours west of London, not two hours west of Lands End!

bath is a fantastic place, really upmarket, left my old sti there a couple of times in a hotel car park, hotel situated a few mins walk (villa magdala find it on the web - highly recommend it by the way). Would seriously consider moving down there, its real nice.

Grew up there, parents still live there. Don't have a problem leaving the STI in the middle of town, seen a few scooby there, but Optimax is a bit thin on the ground There are two shell garages I know about, one on the A46 coming into Bath from Junction 18 M4 and one on A120 coming into Bath the FUN way past Castle Combe off junc.17

A new shell garage may have been built in town, but god knows where...?

i havent noticed a shell garage in bath..

the closest two are the ones you mention above.

Bath is a wicked place and I don't think they have much car crime apart from on the estate in Twerton.

I wouldn't go there with a woman though - go alone!!!
