Ws the TVR driver wearing a pork pie hat, driving gloves, smoking a pipe, and have a dog in the front seat?

Oh, and a travel rug on the parcel shelf.

I just mailed my mate Paul who drives a nice shiney RS Focus.

Hes one of those "keep your throttle foot buried in in the floor pan, and everything will be fine" types, and would be in your boot if you were "having a go".

LM

Oh and Mega, you got no work to do or what?

I still have it, and I have been waiting for a recirc fitting for it from JW for like 8 weeks or something... just couldn't (ie the missus) put up with the sound anymore. Yeah me tek2 is great, got it via the great JB as u suggested. How come you nearly shagged your pistons whappened come on tell me now now now!!

Well I bought a tek2.5 off scoobyjawa, ecu has been excellent but just recently boost seemed to getting higher and higher,

I was informed that with the levels of boost i was getting that i would melt the turbo or the pistons, so I have made a small adjustment which has now dropped my boost to a safer level.

You're not interested in selling the hks then?

Will chat Friday if u going

Steve (aka Lan Man)

Cool

yeah m8, I think I'm going to keep it - it dont half look sexy all chrome an ****!
Looks like Im going to have to make this Nottcutts meet, I mean Ive only had the car over a year and got about 50 other people into them but not made a meet yet! So if you need any supplies give me a bell and I'll bring them with me.
What boost are you running now then? I thought about 1.2 - 1.25 was about the limit for the pi$$y little turbos we got?! Wasn't aware that this put your pistons in danger of melting. When I put my front decat pipe on, it overboosted so bad I hit 1.48!! Followed by a big fuel cut, there's now teethmarks where it says "airbag".
After driving an oldun with a bigger turbo in it I'm seriously thinking of getting a bigger turbo and a FMIC and a remap.... well when the funds allow anyway

Yeah keep it RP , dont want one now anyway - so there Mega

Maybe i put my forge back that You were interested in

As for the boost I hit 1.55 - Oooh yeah - was like being kicked up the **** by the jolly green giant.
http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...hreadID=206031
see for yaself

If i knew it was only ever the turbo that would suffer, I'd take my chances, bypass the fuel cut, and save up for a nice 360 degree hybrid, to replace my smouldering molten td04.

In fact fmic and big turbo sounds freakin great - I want my boost back. Im saving now. Unless Mega fancies one, I'll check with him first.

Yeah half your m8s own scoobies now, or is that Mega owns half a scooby now? (RA half the weight/thickness in panels/glass)
Hehe sorry Mega - using your name in vain even though I don't know you!
Anyway Lanman you didn't own a scooby till I told you that they put hairs on your chest! So you are imitating me, can't say I blame you, I am kinda cool. LOL
Whatcha want a VTA dump for anyhow, you trying to pull 16yr olds with your flaming tailpipe????
