It's a mate of mine, he's not on here yet (must be mad).
He told me about your antics when he got back, he wants to know what power your pushing out?

Simb 2,
Hi,funnily enough i wondered the same thing about his car.
Mine has got a scoobysport rear silencer and ITG air filter, and when it went on the rolling road it was the normal 240bhp for a car of that year.
We did have a good play and he certainly matched my speed.I would hazard a guess and say his has been modded slightly?
Do you both live local,if so keep an eye on the southern section on this bbs for the dorset meets, and try and come along too one.
Cheers

Hi Ron,
Yeah,I made it,I did look out for you but i didn't get there until midday as i went to a subaru dealer close to there.Do you know anyone who want's to buy my car for about 6,500k - 6,000k and no less?If i advertise on here,i will only get the usual cr@p,about,"It's not worth that".The thing is i need a reasonably quick sale for the car I looked at.The car is a U.K that I looked at(no offence!!) but looks the biz.
Glad you had fun on the track.Hopefully see you at the next meet.
Regards
Dean

Hi Dean, he has modded it slightly, to my knowledge a full exhaust system (cat back), not sure what its running or whether the previous owner has modded anything else. Hopefully be attending a RR day soon so will be able to find out.
He now lives up your way, after moving from S.wales, after you both went your seperate ways thats where he lives, i'm sure your have a better idea where that is than me.
Good luck selling your car

Hi Simb,
Is his car a U.K model or jap spec.Just wondered how much difference there is between a jap spec and a U.K on the road(with light mods). Not interested in figures on paper!
At present I haven't tried to hard to sell mine, but that might change after thursday!
Thanks
Dean

Hi Dean, its a UK model.
As Ron said don't worry about what they say if you put a post in about selling it, its the best free Advertising you can get on here, reaching the correct market. Wherever you advertise you always get time wasters.

Look's like i've negotiated a good deal with the dealer,so no need to advertise it now.The new car hasn't got the kick of my old car,but it's more progressive and quieter

Is it another scoob or have you gone against the grain?, if it is a scoob it won't stay quiet for long, there's nothing like hearing a buzzing noise for hour after a long motorway journey

Simb,
It is another scoob, but a u.k version so at present it isn't packing quite the same punch as the old model, but it look's rather nice. And there's alway's time to mod it after the warranty run's out in 2 yrs time, but I can live with that because it looks so fine!

Hi Ron,
It's a 2002 model, and i think it looks a cracking car,but then I'm biased.Hopefully all will be revealed on the 9th June(I actually pick it up on the 2nd June). It's got to look better as it is quieter and slower than the present one. I must be getting old!
Know anyone interested in my quiet rear silencer, otherwise it will be advertised shortly!
Cheers

Blimey mate, thats a bit of a jump, and there was me thinking you wanted a 'quick' jap spec motor!!!!!!1
See you on the 9th, surely won't hear you!!
should be a good run for you, straight down the 354!!! And then turn right in Milborne St Andrew!!!

The sensible Dean beat up the Dean ruled by testosterone,or was it the wife beat the husband into submission???.For the amount of time I drive the car,I thought the new one would be a better day to day car for the wife(Isn't that sweet). But the real reason is because it's got everything I want at present. And the car has only got 5,000mls on it!

Hi Dean, will tell my mate to look out for you, I presuming it's a Bugeye, what colour? It won't stay standard for long.
I get my car serviced at David hendry cars, long way to trek and a little expensive for me to get my car serviced I know, but I Trust them and thats hard to find these days and worth the extra.

Hi Simb,
The car is WR Blue.I'm glad to hear some good reports about Mr Hendry,I found them very helpful and not pushy when it comes to selling cars.
Hopefully we will meet at a future event, and tell your mate to come along to one of the dorset meets or hopefully i will organise another one with Ron for our area.
Ron,
YHM.Give me a ring if you want mate.
Cheers
